This abandoned diner was located in a a small township in rural New Jersey and was one of the many famous “train car” style diners that were located throughout the state of New Jersey. This diner opened back in the 1960s and served the modest community for over 40 years before closing its doors in 2007. It was a very popular hang out and eatery for the locals, who were regular staples of the diner, some for nearly the entire 40 plus years it was in operation. This diner was by far the best abandoned diner that we have ever photographed, documented, and explored. The numerous holes in the ceiling and broken windows have allowed the elements to come in to where nature has even started to take over in several areas throughout the diner. It almost seems like the people of the diner just walked out and locked the doors and never returned, which always makes for a great explore because of everything that is left behind.
